Today in 1964 the Beatles song, "Can't Buy Me Love", went to the #1 spot on the music charts. While this song isn't my favorite of the Beatles, I chose this date because I LOVE THEM!

On April 9, 2012 in Northeren England had a major blackout. There were more then 50,000 homes were without power. They had a storm the high winds and heavy ice and snow knocked out the power lines.
